An application workflow that works
Workflow
A steady rhythm and a simple pipeline beat sporadic job-site browsing.
An application workflow is a small system: you capture leads, you tailor quickly, and you follow up without losing track. That usually means a weekly or twice-weekly block in your calendar, a fixed list of target employers and roles, and a template for tracking status (sent, response, interview). Random bursts of applications tend to create uneven quality and more rejections, not more luck.
Start from the job, not your old CV: pull five keywords and three proof points for each ad, then adjust your first screen accordingly. Keep cover letters or notes short and specific. Over time, the workflow reduces anxiety because you are measuring effort and follow-up, not magic.
